A Form before me

Its a fact every night has its dawn,
but cant help feeling that this should go on.
Never wanting to see the rising of the sun,
but that moment frozen, where time doesn’t have to run.
That moment, that snapshot in time,
wishing would last forever, stopping the clocks chime.
Laying beside you observing you slumber,
the gentle flutter of your eyelids, flickering before growing calmer.
The fullness of your lips, curled and slightly ajar,
the curves of your form, radiating in the moonlight from afar.
Perfection before me, lies the form of an angel still,
never wanting to remove my gaze, but get my fill.
Blinking, dare not, just incase this vision laying before me,
disappear, a figment of my mind and vanished completely.
